Sometimes, when it all gets too much, this is what she does.
You can't stop her.

Neither can I.

Everyday, everyday.
Stupid stuff gets in the way
She don’t like it

She’s interrupted by the bullshit that they say
She don’t need it.

If only for a little while
She gets outside she gets outside
Everyday she gets to make herself smile
Forgets about the stuff down on the ground.

You can try to warn but she just don’t care.
She’s got nothing to fear
You try to tell her not to climb too high
I think she’s pretending not to hear.

She’s going higher and higher and higher

Then one day
Whilst we were wondering, worrying why..
No-one down here noticed that she’d reached up to the sky.
